Gateway Association was founded in Edmonton by passionate parents looking to open doors for their children with Gloria Shade-Weaver being founding president. Gateway Association strives to be a leader in the disability field by providing quality, individual-centered services for people with disabilities and their families. The main pillars of Gateway Association are the Employment team and the Family Support team. In addition, Gateway Association strives to develop innovative advocacy and awareness initiatives, such as the Cash Mobs they have been hosting since 2014.
