About five months after Bill 205 is passed, there have not been any recruitment efforts towards hiring on an advocate. Some comments from the public express frustration about the delay in the process, but Minister Sabir reassures in a statement that “since the bill passed this spring, we have been working to establish the advocate’s office and to determine how it can best work with other support mechanisms for persons with varying abilities”.1
