In December the Premier’s Council proposed the “Alberta Disability Strategy” to Gene Zwozdesky, Minister of Alberta Community Development.1 The “Alberta Disability Strategy” document detailed 8 recommendations designed to better the lives of Albertans with disabilities, and to educate the public about disabilities.2 The strategy also encompasses 23 specific outcomes that should result from implementation of the strategy.3 People with disabilities, professional associations, staff/board members of advocacy organizations, among others, were asked to answer specific questions and provide feedback regarding the proposed recommendations.4
