Canadian MP and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, Kirsty Duncan, introduces the proposed Accessible Canada Act.1 If passed, the national bill would aim to create “a barrier-free Canada . . .through the proactive identification, removal, and prevention of barriers to accessibility wherever Canadians interact with areas under federal jurisdiction.”2
